Company History
Convina started in early 2001 as a web development firm with an emphasis on automation solutions. Our vision has always been to bring enterprise-level applications to a broader range of small businesses. Convina is a privately funded business held by a board of directors, each contributing resources to the business. Convina is a profitable, growing business. Our success can be attributed to the way we solve problems in our business, for our clients, and in our industry.
In late 2001 Convina invested in a private web services network. With a direct connection to the Internet and our own application hardware, we had more control over the hosting environment. This setup allowed us to develop more robust applications in less time. With more agility than most web firms, Convina started to build and deploy advanced websites at a fraction of the normal cost of development.
Since then, Convina has expanded the repertoire of skills that allows us to be better, faster, and more affordable than the competition. We now operate our network with datacenters in Utah, Arizona, and Michigan and expect to have data service centers in Texas and California by mid-2007. We have clients in more than half of the 50 states and we also serve companies abroad in countries like the UK, Holland, Belgium, Norway, and China. Our solutions reach end users in every country of the world.
Convina continues to improve application performance with advanced technologies developed and maintained in-house. Our RADaptive development framework cuts months off of development time for most web applications without sacrificing important requirements like open standards and ownership to our clients.
