Year in Review - 2009
January 12, 2010

"It is important to remember past accomplishments and failures, for that is how we grow. It is more important to remember the good times that we have shared, for that is how we live."
~ Q. Andrizzi

Here are some of the memories that we shared with each other during a review of the past year with all of our employees. These stories will definitely be funnier for us than they are for you but we hope you can enjoy a few laughs remembering the good times you had last year.

  • The Mile Race
A lunch break that turned into a challenge to see who could run a mile in under six minutes. Andrea dropped everybody a mile away from the office and turned them loose to see who could make it back.
  • Trevor and Quinn's man dates
One initial man date that turned into a tradition. From sushi to pizza to baked potatoes at a local grocery store, Quinn and Trevor have been there.
  • Mouse in the House
Our smart furry friend who knew to come when we were unarmed. He vanished when we brought out the mouse traps. He's probably just waiting until we're not ready.
  • The Break In Next Door
Jake has it all on video. A man trying to get in the door the old-fashioned way -- with a crowbar. And he was pretty angry to boot.
  • Grand Opening of McDonalds Near Us
A drastic chain of events as our bellies got a bit larger without eating away at our wallets. Thank you, dollar menu!
  • Superhero Half Marathon
13.1 miles of running dressed as your favorite superhero character. Without our fictional friends' super hero powers, we wouldn't have been able to finish.
  • Company Parties
From Dinners at Bonsai to laser tag to Trevor getting a 220 in Bowling (no, not the Wii version), you can say that we really enjoy each other's company.
  • The Blue Diamond Gym
Located right below our offices, Jake brought some weights that he had at his house and we topped it all off with some lovely blue carpet. It gets terribly cold in the winter as there is no heating. It only makes you stronger.

We hope you all had a great 2009! Best wishes for the new year!

Love,

The Crew at Convina
