Unlike almost any other web firm out there– Convina does not have a sales staff. In fact, we don't even really have a sales process. Which fits right in with our other efforts to keep risk low for our clients.

Not because they know how to sell it, but because they do the work of web strategy all day every day. You're talking to people who understand software development, design, and marketing.

Our staff is made up of people who have put in the time and effort to get to the top of their trade (or in the case of some of our younger talent– they are obsessively working on that). If you're a prospective client talking to someone at Convina, you're talking to someone who spends 95%+ of their time on project work.

No Sales Overhead

Most firms pay a significant percentage of project revenues to supporting a sales staff. In other words, your project dollars are being spent to support future projects from other clients– not your project.

At Convina we've learned that where the money goes, the focus goes. If your project dollars are going to pay sales people to aggressively push projects through the sales cycle, the focus is on new and future projects. At Convina, project dollars are 100% dedicated to the time and resources of each project. During project time, everything we do centers around moving the project at hand forward.

Simply Better

In the beginning of our business, we did have sales reps and we did grow our business by focusing on future projects. It worked for us– but it didn't work for our clients. That's why we made a change.

So how do we stay in business? It's simple: we're really good at getting referrals and we're really good at implementing effective web marketing strategies that completely eliminate the need for a sales cycle.

Oh, and 95% of our clients have been with us for 3 years or more. Most have been with us for 5 years+ and many have been with us for nearly 10 years!
